Hair Extensions Care Guide
WASHING
- Wash your hair in an upright position (preferably in the shower).
- Use sulfate-free shampoo to gently cleanse without damaging the bonds.
- Do not scrub the roots or tangle the hair — just gently massage the scalp.
- Apply conditioner or mask only from mid-length to ends, avoiding the roots and bonds.
BRUSHING
- Use a wide-tooth comb or a special hair extension brush.
- Always brush from ends to roots, holding the hair at the roots for support.
- Brush your hair 2-3 times a day, including before washing and before sleep.
AVOID
- Applying oils or masks near the roots or bonds
- Aggressive brushing on wet hair
- Sleeping with loose or damp hair
- Any chemical treatments without consulting your stylist
- Do not backcomb
DRYING
- Never sleep with wet hair — always dry your hair thoroughly.
- Use a hairdryer on medium heat, especially at the roots.
- Avoid overheating the bonds or applying direct heat to attachment points.
MAINTENANCE
- Schedule regular refits every 9–12 weeks, depending on the method and hair growth.
- Late refits can cause tangling and damage your natural hair.
SLEEPING
- Before bed, loosely braid your hair or make a low ponytail.
- Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to minimize friction and tangling.
